2015! Projects so far and up and coming plans

Hello All.

I have not posted here on my blog for a long time due to being so busy with animated work and other works!

So let me share with you what I've been up to while I've been busy...

So I've been commissioned to edit footage and create animation for 16 interviews for a spectacular company named W-A-Y who are basted in Detroit, U.S.A.
Above is their logo which I turned into a fully animated icon that would be floating in the bottom right corner of the interviews and would also be the animated logo for the intro.

Also heres an I-dent that I animated, it has the logo in the bottom right that transforms into the bar that you see- this is where the name of the "interviewee" appears.
In the interview I used a transition that brings the appearance of it arriving on screen a better presents.

More later... Bye for now.

Elephants!

Hello all.

Well, I've under taken a new project for Inclusion Trust's Notschool.net project.

As an online environment the users need some assisting on where to navigate to and what to do around the online community... With a little help from an animated freind appearing on the screen pointing users the right way.

My inspiration for this is something much like what Jurassic Park did when they used an animated peice "DNA" named "Mr. DNA" to help tell the story of how they got DNA from a moscito to bring Dinosaurs back to life.

This is as well an animated intro to all of Inclusion Trust's which will debut with the "guide video(s)"

Heres a tease so far..

And here we go its The Revenge of the 6ft Arm

THE REVENGE OF THE 6FT ARM

                                      http://blogs.arts.ac.uk/london-college-of-communication/

People may think the animation is unfinished but theres a point.

"People in their last moments show you who they really are" - Health Ledger as The Joker, The Dark Knight, 2008.

This quote meant so much to me and symbolises in the film that when the characters are here something to do with Death they show their true colours or even if someone is angry we flip and show people another side of us showing who we really can be and this how I choose to symbolise that in the film.

I hope you enjoy it and please do let me know what you think.

The Revenge of the 6ft Arm

Hello!

I've been SO busy over the last six months busy with projects and my final major project "The Revenge of the 6ft Arm".

Synopsis:
Set in the 1940s a tall man that lives alone in a forest walks into town to put
his height to good use to help the town’s people. when a gang takes the mick
out of him for being tall but when the tall man retaliates in a brake out of
violence the gang seeks their revenge and murder the man, beating, stabbing
him and chopping him into bits leaving only his arm down a muddy
embankment to magically come to life to find its way around the town tracking
down it’s murderers and slaughtering them as they did to what was once a
gentle giant.

Treatment:
Set in B-movie style 1940s, Morristown, Vermort, USA.
A menacing but gentle giant of a man stands tall and peaceful
living in his shack amongst the forests, opposite Lake Lamoille.
One day while out for a walk in the town he notices a gang
whom appear to be trouble, ignoring them, he continues to walk
by. The tall man kindly helps a struggling shop keeper, being 12
foot tall with ease puts his height to kind use and helps put a
sign back up for the shopkeeper while the gang behind him
whisper, point and laugh.

Keeping up these kind acts for people in the town, using his
height the best way possible with the gang following him around
taking the mick out of his abnormality. The tall man hits his head
and the gang are in hysterics laughing and pointing, the tall man
gets so angry that he lashes out knocking the four of them to the
ground.

That night the ringleader and the rest of the gang race to the
home of the man looking for revenge. With knifes and an axe in
hand, they find the tall man to be outside and take their revenge
to the limit, with the first blow of the axe, shearing the tall man’s
arm off, the man’s arm rolls away down an embankment while
they hack away and murder the giant.

The gang discard of the remains in the lake, not realizing they
are an arm missing. That night through lighting and thunder the
arm that was left down the muddy grass embankment slowly
comes to life, seeking it’s revenge on the four members of whom
are responsible for the murder, killing three members but the
ringleader. The 6 foot long arm chases down the terrified gang
member in-which the tables turn and the hunter becomes the
hunted.

Film to be uploaded soon.

Animation in 2014

Hello all.

Well this is the first post of the year!

Well before christmas I worked on an animation for The Royal Society for their book awards ceremony hosted by Dara O'Briain, the animation was an intro clip on Bird's Sense a book wrote by Tim Birkhead.  I'm unable to post the animation here due to copyrights but soon I'll post some concepts images.

The new animation that I'm working on currently is that on a B-Movie styled short... Here's a doodle I did for it below.

Mermaids!?

Hello, Hello!

Its been awhile, only because I've been very busy with Pre-Production with making an new Stop Motion  animation, this time around its an animation based on pollution and what man has done to our seas, killing off sea life and the possible existence of Mermaids!

Theres been loads of work that has gone into the project from my end, the story has been changed 5/6 times.

Here are some "Pre-Production goodies" that i've developed so far.
